Tibériade Outfitter
Air Mont-Laurier and its outfitting
facilities have quite a past history and its unfolding
gave rise to all sorts of situations, which could very
well inspire our President, Norman Ouellette, when he
sits down to write his memoirs of 36 adventure-thrilling
years.
In truth, Norman Ouellette became a bush pilot not
because of his enduring passion for planes, but rather
as a means to provide an opportunity for outdoor buffs
to experience memorable moments. Hum…amazing don't you
think! Seaplanes make it possible to fly people to
unusual wide open spaces… why so unusual? Well, there
are no roads.
Choosing the right territory was therefore of prime
importance. The first to be selected and developed in
1976 was Tibériade Outfitter. Divided by the Némikachi
River, the terrain is exceedingly rough and an
exceptional moose reserve. Natural passes are the only
migration routes and it is a known fact, that hunting in
Tibériade sub-territories provides great thrills. A
natural lake system allows pike and walleye fishing
expeditions in untrammelled nature, where one can enjoy
an unscheduled life.
Nine fully-equipped cottages guarantee that our
customers have comfortable lodging which will meet their
expectations. A trail network leads to neighbouring
lakes where tree stands have been built in strategic
places. Watercrafts are available for hunters and
fishermen where necessary.
Tibériade Outfitter! It's reliving the olden days of
fifty years ago. |
